Coming Soon: Three Housing Projects In Downtown Tucson

Several downtown Tucson housing projects in the works.

Tucson, Arizona – The vision as stated in the Downtown Development Report, “Is a Downtown for everyone, a pedestrian – bike friendly place, eclectic, and diverse. It is the Southwest’s premier urban hub for living, dining, retail, business, art, entertainment, and both historic and contemporary architecture.”

Kathleen Eriksen, CEO Downtown Tucson Partnership stated, “The Summer 2018 report indicates approximately $75 million dollars in projects have been completed with more than $360 million dollars in projects underway and 32 new businesses are projected to open this year.”

“Simply put, Downtown Tucson is transforming right before our eyes.”

Several new developments will hit the market very soon providing Tucson residents with a more high-end downtown lifestyle opportunity.


There are few Tucson downtown residences available for sale. Coming soon is a project called the “Two Easy Lofts. The Chase building, a historic site at the corner of  (2 E Congress St) which will be converted into 21 market-rate urban lofts. Designed for urban living for easy accessibility to walk to work, take the modern streetcar to work, eat and play, with amenities at your doorstep. There will be seven floorpans curated with open layouts, and sleek lines.


Two-story residences designed by architect Rob Paulus are four residential homes located in the  historic neighborhood called, Armory Park. The single family homes will start in the low $500’s.

The historic neighborhood of “Barrio Viejo” is a bare plot of land soon to be the newest project called “Mordasini Villas” just northwest of Stone Avenue and 17th Street.  Home prices will range from the low $400’s with unique features: offering two access points to the homes and allowing for the concealment of the garages, 2 or 3 bedrooms, and several floorpans to choose from.
