Oro Valley Real Estate April 2014 Market Update
The Oro Valley real estate market update for May 2014 indicates a market slowdown from the same time as last year. The number of homes currently on the market was 353 which is a 41% increase from April 2013. That means that we have more homes on the market than last year. Many sellers are no longer have negative equity in their home since the market has improved.  In April of 2014 had a 16% decrease in the number of closings from April 2013.  The Tucson Association of Realtors multiple listing service data shows that the Oro Valley Months of Inventory was 5.0, up from 3.0 in April 2013. On a good note, the median price of sold homes in Oro Valley was $255,450 for the month of April 2014, up 16% from April 2013.  Oro Valley is no longer a buyers market, we are a more blanched market. Oro Valley top three highest price homes sold in the last six months were ranged in price from $1,065,000 to $ 950,000.
