The Tucson Multiple Listing Service reported the median price of luxury sold homes in June 2013 was $952,500, which is down 11 percent from the same time as last year. The median is considered the threshold which divides the real estate market by two or half. A simple way to think about it would be that just as many homes sold above as below the threshold.
Currently, the number of Tucson luxury homes on the market in June 2013 was 222, which was reported as the same as last year. The average luxury home price recorded for June 2013 was $1.16m with 39 sales for Tucson Luxury homes priced over $750,000 and above. There were 5 sales recorded in June 2013 above $1,000,000.
